Mirra Andreeva saw her winning streak prematurely interrupted at Wimbledon, being eliminated in the second round by the experienced Czech Barbora Krejcikova. The 19-year-old Russian, current number five in the world and recently crowned at Roland-Garros, was unable to sustain the level of tennis that made her famous in Paris. The match, which lasted 2h44, was an exhausting physical battle decided in three sets.
