Three Czech female tennis players secured their way to the third round of Wimbledon and thus maintained their hope for a Grand Slam title at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in London. Barbora Krejčíková attacks to defend last year's victory, while Karolína Muchová and Nikola Bartůňková confirm the strength of Czech tennis. Barbora Krejčíková performed well against Mirra Andrejevová, seeded fifth.
Last year's winner handled the pressure of expectations and defeated a highly ranked opponent, fulfilling her role as the favorite in this race. Her journey to defense thus continues, although the challenge of her opponents increases with each round. The biggest surprise of the tournament so far is Nikola Bartůňková.
