After her Parisian coronation, the 19-year-old Russian collapsed in the second round of Wimbledon against Krejčíková despite saving six match points.
Mirra Andreeva, crowned champion at Roland-Garros a month ago, was eliminated in the second round of Wimbledon by Barbora Krejčíková (4-6, 7-5, 6-4). Despite saving six match points, the 19-year-old Russian failed to string together exceptional performances. The match, played under a capricious London sky, shifted in the third set after Andreeva led 5-4.
