Sam Prendergast delivered a man-of-the-match performance as Leinster beat the Bulls 27–26 in the United Rugby Championship final, a result that could redefine Andy Farrell’s Lions selection choices. Leinster’s 27–26 victory over the Bulls in the URC final at the Aviva Stadium on 25 May 2025 capped a dominant season for the province and provided a stage for Prendergast’s breakthrough. The 22-year-old openside scored a try, made 12 tackles, and carried the ball 47 metres while setting up key phases, finishing with a 93% tackle success rate.
