Williams size 10 kg: FW48 ready for minimum weight in Madrid
New FW48 chassis drops below 768 kg for the Spanish GP. Aerodynamics and livery revisited to Silverstone to push the rimonta builders.

Williams Racing has cut 10kg of excess weight from the FW48 with a new chassis, bringing the car under the 768kg requirement for the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid. The innovative chassis, developed thanks to investments in engineering and leading technicians, will debut on the track in Madrid, where the British team hopes to exploit its competitive advantage to climb positions. The FW48, currently eighth in the constructors' standings, could thus reduce the gap with the top teams and fight for precious points in a season that is still open.
