Liverpool announced the signing of 22-year-old Spanish midfielder Victor Muñoz from Osasuna for an estimated fee of 40 million euros. The arrival of the player, trained at Barcelona's La Masia and having spent time at Real Madrid, marks Andoni Iraola's first signing since taking over as coach of the Reds. Muñoz underwent medical examinations at the Spanish team's base during the World Cup, before signing a long-term contract.
