Four-time winner Tadej Pogačar says he is ready for the 2026 Tour de France, while respecting his rivals.

Four-time Tour de France champion Tadej Pogačar said he was 'ready' for his quest for a fifth yellow jersey at a pre-race press conference. The Slovenian, who has won 13 races in just 16 days of competition this season, acknowledged the challenges ahead, citing not only his long-time rival Jonas Vingegaard, but also his teammate Isaac Del Toro, as well as Paul Seixas, Remco Evenepoel and Florian Lipowitz as serious competitors. Pogačar, leader of UAE Team Emirates, enters the 2026 Tour as the big favorite, expressing his anticipation for the start of the race in Barcelona.
