Jonathan Toews ends 16-year run with three Cups, retires
The 'Captain Serious' closes his Hall of Fame career with 912 points, three Stanley Cups, and a hometown finale.

Jonathan Toews has retired from the NHL after 16 seasons, capping a Hall of Fame career with three Stanley Cups, two Selke Trophies, and the 2010 Conn Smythe. The 38-year-old announced his retirement at the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex in Winnipeg, the city where he played his final NHL season with the Jets in 2025-26. Toews finishes with 912 points (383 goals, 529 assists) in 1,149 games, all with the except for that final season.
