The Milwaukee Brewers edged the Cincinnati Reds 4–3 in a tightly contested NL Central clash at Great American Ball Park. The Brewers struck first in the third inning on a two-run single by Christian Yelich, extending a 2–0 lead. Cincinnati answered in the bottom half with a solo home run from Tyler Stephenson, but Milwaukee’s starter Brandon Woodruff held firm through five innings, allowing just two hits and one run while striking out seven.
