Superbikes: Oliveira retires at Misano due to extreme fatigue
Miguel Oliveira's return from a shoulder injury ended in retirement at Misano. Meanwhile, Nicolò Bulega added another victory for Ducati.
Miguel Oliveira was unable to complete the second race of the Misano World Superbike weekend. The Portuguese BMW driver abandoned the race with 14 laps remaining, citing extreme fatigue after a complicated return from a shoulder injury. Oliveira's performance in the qualifying Superpole had been promising: he finished sixth, but fell to ninth in the race before retiring.
