Wimbledon 2026: Cobolli and Sonego in the third round, Berrettini already ahead
Two out of three Italians in the round of 32 in London: Flavio Cobolli and Lorenzo Sonego pass the second round, Matteo Berrettini already in the third after the victory over Fils.
Flavio Cobolli and Lorenzo Sonego are in the third round of Wimbledon 2026, joining forces with Matteo Berrettini who has already qualified. Cobolli beat James Duckworth in three sets (6-4, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2) after three hours of play. Lorenzo Sonego overcame the French Rayane Diallo in five sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2), finishing in fifth after four hours and forty minutes.
