NFL rights go to RTL and Sky: DAZN is out
The streaming giant loses the NFL. RTL and Sky secure up to nine games per week and the RedZone. The era of the exclusive DAZN monopoly is over.

RTL and Sky have captured the NFL rights in Germany and wrested the monopoly position from DAZN. The streaming monopoly is history, the traditional TV heavyweights are returning and taking back the gridiron. The cooperation between RTL and Sky Deutschland secured the exclusive rights and thus ends the era of the streaming giant.
Fans can look forward to up to nine live games per week, broadcast across the two media giants' platforms. The package also includes the coveted RedZone show, known for its quick cuts and all-important plays. DAZN, which has dominated the market in recent years, is left empty-handed and has to come to terms with the loss of the most important American sports league in Germany.
