Fenerbahçe joins race for Sarr with €10m wage demand
Lens lose Sarr for free as defender demands a king’s ransom; Fenerbahçe leads pursuit, but Atlético Madrid and Al-Hilal are also in the mix.
Malang Sarr is forcing RC Lens into a free-transfer exit by demanding a €10 million annual salary for his next club. Fenerbahçe has already met with his representatives, joining Atlético Madrid, Al-Hilal, and Beşiktaş in the chase for the 24-year-old defender. Lens, who signed Sarr from Nantes in 2021 for €5 million, will receive no transfer fee, leaving them to rebuild without their defensive anchor.
