Granollers and Zeballos start with victory at Wimbledon
The Spanish-Argentine duo, seeded second, defeated Galloway and Peers 7-6 and 6-3 in their debut at the All England Club.

Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos confirmed their status as favorites by making their Wimbledon debut with victory, beating the pair formed by Robert Galloway and John Peers 7-6 and 6-3 in the first round. The second seeds, coming from their consecration at Roland Garros, showed why they are one of the most feared duos on the current circuit with a solid performance on the London grass. The match tested the Paris champions' adaptation to a faster surface, but the solidity of their serve and precision on key points allowed them to resolve the first set in a tie-break and dominate the second set forcefully.
