Dorofeyev joins Rangers in blockbuster Vegas trade
Vegas sends 25-year winger to New York after 37-goal season, landing three draft picks in return.

The Vegas Golden Knights sent forward Pavel Dorofeyev to the New York Rangers on Thursday in a multi-pick trade that underscores divergent rebuild timelines in the NHL. Dorofeyev, 25, leaves Vegas after scoring 37 goals and 68 points in 2023–24—the highest single-season totals of his career. The Rangers add a proven goal-scorer to an offense that failed to qualify for the playoffs in each of the past two seasons.
