The Chicago Cubs (40-36) take a 1-0 series lead into Game 2 against the Toronto Blue Jays (37-39) on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field. Chicago’s offense struck early in the opener, plating five runs in the first three innings to set the tone in a 7-3 victory. The Cubs’ rotation, led by right-hander Jameson Taillon, limited Toronto to three runs on six hits over five innings.
