Vasco closes with Seabra; Coritiba charges full fine
Cruzmaltino pays dearly for stability and removes coach from Coxa, who demands full payment for his termination.

Vasco da Gama is on the verge of signing Fernando Seabra as its new commander, snatching him from Coritiba in an aggressive move to remedy the technical instability that is plaguing the club. The transaction depends exclusively on the payment of the termination clause, valued at R$4 million. Vasco's board of directors proposed an installment plan to facilitate financial management, but Coritiba resists and demands full settlement of the debt immediately.
