Braves’ bullpen in flux as Suarez lands on IL, Waldrep called up
MLB’s lowest ERA reliever exits with forearm tightness; Hurston Waldrep steps in as Atlanta reshuffles its late-inning core.

Robert Suarez has landed on the Atlanta Braves’ 15-day injured list with forearm tightness, sidelining MLB’s lowest ERA reliever through the All-Star break and forcing a bullpen reshuffle. The move hands the Braves’ setup arm role to Hurston Waldrep, who was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett as Tyler Kinley and Dylan Lee slide into expanded late-inning duties. 92 ERA over his last 20 outings.
