Alex Palou

Alex Palou is a Spanish IndyCar driver for Chip Ganassi Racing, where he drives the No. 10 Honda. A four-time NTT IndyCar Series champion, Palou has become one of the defining drivers of the modern era with his precision on road and street courses, calm race management, and rare season-long consistency. Born in Sant Antoni de Vilamajor near Barcelona, Spain, Palou built his career through European and Japanese junior categories before moving to IndyCar in 2020. He won his first series title in 2021, then added championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025. His 2025 season also included victory in the Indianapolis 500, making him the first Spaniard to win both an IndyCar championship and the Indy 500. Palou’s rise has made him a central figure at Chip Ganassi Racing alongside veteran teammate Scott Dixon, and a frequent benchmark for rivals such as Pato O'Ward, Josef Newgarden, Scott McLaughlin, and Kyle Kirkwood.
