Ruben Amorim at the helm of Milan: the new Rossoneri era
Milan have confirmed Ruben Amorim, formerly of Sporting and Manchester United, as their new manager, promising high-intensity football.

Milan have officially appointed Ruben Amorim as their new first team coach. The former Portuguese manager, known for his work at Sporting CP and his recent spell at Manchester United, arrives with the task of giving the club a clear tactical vision and high-intensity play. President Gerry Cardinale underlined that Amorim was chosen for his ability to build a defined playing identity, capable of bridging the gap between current AC Milan and the European elite.
The Rossoneri club hopes that its attacking approach and its experience in top-level leagues can translate into concrete results both in Serie A and in continental competitions. Amorim, who led Sporting to two Portuguese league titles and worked alongside Erik ten Hegg, brings with him a philosophy based on coordinated pressing, quick transitions and a winning mentality. His CV also includes a brief stint at Manchester United, where he contributed to the tactical management of the attacking department.
