The North Carolina Tar Heels baseball squad clinched a 6-2 triumph over the Oklahoma Sooners in Game 2 of the College World Series in Omaha, forcing a winner-takes-all Game 3 on Monday night. The win highlighted UNC's dominant pitching staff, which limited Oklahoma to just two runs while the Heels' offense delivered timely hits. The Tar Heels' pitching staff has now allowed a total of four runs in the first two games of the CWS, with their pitchers combining for 17 strikeouts.
