NASCAR Names San Diego Street Race Qualcomm Circuit
The planned street race inside an active military base now has a sponsor-backed identity.
NASCAR has officially named its upcoming San Diego street course the Qualcomm Circuit, a sponsor-backed identity for the race held inside an active military base. The partnership with Qualcomm brings a tech-industry name to the temporary circuit, which will host a Cup Series event as part of NASCAR's continued expansion into non-traditional venues. The course layout runs through the grounds of Naval Air Station North Island, blending military heritage with high-speed racing.
The announcement solidifies the race's place on the 2026 schedule and gives fans a concrete identity for the track.
