World Cup 2026: Schedule, groups and dates for USA, Mexico, Canada
Complete schedule for the 2026 World Cup: 48 teams, groups, knockout phase and the warning scenario for Germany.

The 2026 World Cup in North America begins on June 11th and ends on July 19th. With 48 teams, the tournament will be bigger, but also more unpredictable. The schedule is a mammoth project: 104 games in 16 stadiums spread across the USA, Mexico and Canada.
The group phase runs until June 26th, before the knockout phase begins with the round of 16. One scenario shows how Germany could fail in the round of 16 - a wake-up call for the old football powers. 12 groups of 4 teams each compete in the preliminary round, with the group winners and runners-up moving straight into the round of 16.
