Three Czech hockey players took advantage of the opening of the market to secure new addresses while the league ecosystem begins to take shape for next season. Vitek Vaneček is making the switch after leaving New Jersey and signed a one-year contract with the New York Islanders, solving the goaltending problem on Long Island and bringing much-needed stability between the sticks to the team.
