NFF stops WC party: Grass more important than Haaland
The NFF rejects a public meeting at Ullevaal if Norway goes ahead. The grass must be changed before the cup final.

The NFF has effectively stopped the plans for a massive public celebration at Ullevaal Stadium should Norway beat Georgia and advance to the World Cup quarter-finals. The decision is definitive: the grass has priority over the party. The organizers behind the previously successful folk festivals had hoped to be able to fill the national arena again.
After thousands of supporters have previously gathered at Ullevaal to watch the national team, the plan was ready for a quarter-final broadcast. However, the NFF has rejected the application and informed that the arena is unavailable. The reason is a planned and critical replacement of the turf.
