Silistrie loaned to Quevilly: Rennes relies on the rotation of goalkeepers
Mathys Silistrie joins Quevilly for the 2026-2027 season. A strategic loan for Rennes and the Norman club.
Mathys Silistrie, goalkeeper of Stade Rennais FC, will be loaned to Quevilly-Rouen Métropole for the 2026-2027 National season. This loan is part of the goalkeeper rotation strategy put in place by Rennes for the next campaign. The Breton club, which relies on bench depth, relies on loan spells to evaluate its young talents while maintaining their playing time.
Silistrie, trained in Rennes, has spent the last two seasons in the reserve team, accumulating 45 matches without conceding a goal in the last 18 months. A statistic which convinced the Rennes staff of his potential despite his third choice status. For Quevilly-Rouen Métropole, the arrival of Silistrie represents a strong tactical blow.
