Midfielder Álvaro Fidalgo, born in Spain but international with Mexico, sealed his team's impeccable group stage in the 2026 World Cup with a personal goal. In the 90+2 minute, the Real Betis player, who had entered in the second half, scored the third goal in the 3-0 victory over the Czech Republic, a result that confirmed the full victory and first place in Group C for El Tri.
