Latvian gunner Tralmaks leaves Kladno for Edmonton
The king of extraliga scorers chose the Oilers instead of returning to Kladno. European leagues are losing traction on goal.

Eduards Tralmaks, the most productive player of the past year of the Czech extra league, is leaving Europe and signed a one-year two-way contract with the Edmonton Oilers. The Latvian forward did not keep the alleged agreement to return to Kladno and chose another chance overseas, where he spent last season on the farm of the Detroit Red Wings in the AHL. His departure is a significant loss for the Knights, who have relied on his offensive performances, and at the same time confirms the NHL's growing strength in the battle for European talent.
