In preparation for the 2026 World Cup, the JFA has selected the Nashville SC Training Center as its official base. The latest facilities and preservation of Wataru Endo's locker are attracting attention.

The Japanese national team has selected the Nashville SC Training Center as their official base camp for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The JFA did not rely on FIFA's initial list and chose facilities it scouted independently. The base features state-of-the-art facilities including twin glass pitches, a hydrotherapy pool and sauna.
Training centers owned by MLS clubs are optimized for player recovery and conditioning, giving them a huge advantage in cup competitions with a packed schedule. In the locker room, the locker of Wataru Endo, who left the team due to injury, remains intact, and it has become a symbol of the team's history and spirit. In addition, veteran defender Maya Yoshida and attacking midfielder Takumi Minamino have also been fully integrated into the staff, participating in training and tactical meetings on a daily basis.
