Kane is the first to achieve this feat since Beckham! He becomes only the second Englishman to score in three different competitions.
He is tied with Lineker with nine World Cup goals. With seven games left, the all-time leading scorer is within reach.

Harry Kane scored two goals in the first half against Croatia in the opening group stage match of the 2026 North/Central America World Cup. The two goals took Kane's total World Cup points tally to nine, equaling Gary Lineker's record for England goals. He also became the second English player in history to score in three different tournaments (Russia 2018, Qatar 2022 and North and Central America 2026), joining David Beckham in the process.
