Connor Bedard is a Canadian professional ice hockey center for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Widely regarded as a generational talent, Bedard was selected first overall by the Blackhawks in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. He set scoring records in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Regina Pats, including winning the CHL Player of the Year award. Bedard also led Canada to gold at the 2023 World Junior Championships, where he was named tournament MVP. His explosive shot, elite hockey IQ, and playmaking ability have made him the face of Chicago's rebuild.
