Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen is a Nigerian striker who has become one of the most prolific goalscorers in Serie A. After rising through the ranks at Vinchester Academy in Lagos, he moved to Europe with Rosenborg in Norway and later Lille in France before joining Napoli in 2022. At Napoli he helped lead the side to its first Serie A title in over 30 years, finishing as the league's top scorer in the 2022-23 campaign. Osimhen has earned recognition as African Player of the Year and remains a key figure for Nigeria's national team.

Osimhen's 2023-24 season with Napoli was marked by strong individual output despite Napoli finishing second in Serie A behind Juventus. He continued to be one of the division's most dangerous forwards, regularly finding the net and linking play. Manager Walter Mazzarri praised his growth and development during the campaign. Following the season, Osimhen was transferred to Galatasaray in September 2024 in a deal reported around €60 million, marking a major step in his career.
