Pac-12 2.0: The reboot that’s rewriting college football’s future
The Pac-12’s relaunch isn’t just a rebrand—it’s a power shift with new members, fresh rivalries, and 2026 title contenders reshaping the sport.

The Pac-12 officially relaunched with a new wave of members and a blueprint for 2026, marking the most aggressive power shift in college football history. The conference’s reboot includes additions like Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah from the Big 12, while California, Stanford, and USC bolted to the ACC. Washington and Oregon joined the Big Ten, leaving the Pac-12 with just four original members—Oregon State, Washington State, Cal Poly, and UC Davis—for the 2024 season before the full realignment takes hold.
