The final tournament for the FIFA World Cup 2026 has finally been revealed. With the introduction of the 48-team system, a new barrier, the round of 32, was added, completely changing the path to victory. The final tournament will begin with the round of 32, go through the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and culminate in the final on July 19th.
The combinations for each stage will be determined by the results of the group stage, and the top two teams and the top four teams from the third-place finishers will be seeded. The round of 32 draw will be officially announced by FIFA immediately after the group stage. A lottery based on seeding will determine the first round fixtures, with the loser immediately leaving the tournament.
