Livano Comenencia wrote his name in football history by scoring Curaçao's first goal in a World Cup, making the score 1-1 against Germany. The 22-year-old right-back, currently playing for FC Zurich, overcame the German defense led by Manuel Neuer to secure an unprecedented milestone for the Caribbean nation in their debut in the global tournament. A graduate of PSV Eindhoven's academy, Comenencia followed a European path that included a spell at before settling in Switzerland.
