Holgado jumps to MotoGP with Gresini in 2026
The Spanish talent joins Joan Mir in a bet on the future for the Italian team.

Ducati Gresini has made official the signing of Dani Holgado for the 2026 MotoGP season, elevating the young Spanish talent from the intermediate category to the queen class of world motorcycling. The operation confirms the Italian team's strategy of reinforcing its line with emerging promises, giving up the place that other drivers will occupy after the departures of Álex Márquez and Fermín Aldeguer. Holgado, currently sixth in the Moto2 general classification and author of two podiums this season, will share the garage with in one of the most competitive formations in the paddock.
