Spanish sub-top drops out for Joey Veerman due to PSV's asking price
PSV applies a hard limit of 20 million euros, which causes LaLiga clubs to drop out.

Joey Veerman will remain with PSV for the time being, despite concrete interest from Spain. Several clubs from the Spanish sub-top inquired about the midfielder, but withdrew when they saw PSV's asking price of 20 million euros. According to journalist Rik Elfrink, the interest was indeed serious, but the financial demands of the Eindhoven residents proved to be an impregnable hurdle.
The 25-year-old Veerman performed strongly last season with 22 goals and assists. Previous attempts to sell him to Brentford and Fenerbahçe have previously failed. Although PSV's management may become more flexible this summer, the Spanish candidates have already thrown in the towel.
