The Eagles closed the League undefeated — 30 wins and four draws in 34 games — equaling their 2014/15 feat, although with eight more games played. João Rodrigues (50 goals in the season) and Viti (21 goals) were the scorers of the triumph, with emphasis on the performance of goalkeeper Conti.
