Přehled
Alexander Albon is a Thai Formula 1 driver for Atlassian Williams Racing, competing under the Thai flag in the FIA Formula One World Championship. Known for tire management, race craft, and calm feedback over the radio, he has become a central figure in Williams' rebuild under team principal James Vowles. Born in London on March 23, 1996, Albon rose through the European junior ladder before finishing third in the 2018 Formula 2 championship. He made his F1 debut with Toro Rosso in 2019, earned a midseason promotion to Red Bull Racing, and later returned to the grid with Williams in 2022 after a year away from full-time F1 racing. Albon has scored Formula 1 podiums, led Williams' points efforts in multiple seasons, and built a reputation as one of the grid's strongest defensive racers when fighting with a slower car. His career has included spells alongside Max Verstappen, Nicholas Latifi, Logan Sargeant, Franco Colapinto, and Carlos Sainz.
